Campaign profit and POAS

Quick Overview

See which ad campaign actually makes money after product, shipping and COD costs.

On the Dashboard, scroll to Profit costs and Campaigns.

1. Tag your ad links

Orders are grouped by the utm_campaign on the link that brought the buyer. In your ad platform, add UTM parameters to your links, for example:

?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign={{campaign.name}}

Turn on Save campaign (UTM) parameters on orders in Settings → General to also write them onto the Shopify order. Campaigns from Branded Referral appear automatically.

2. Add your product costs

In Shopify, open each product and fill Cost per item. CODPrem reads it for every order.

3. Fill the Profit costs card

Leave a field empty if it doesn’t apply:

  • Shipping cost per order — what the courier charges per delivery.
  • Return cost per order — a refused delivery’s round trip.
  • COD collection fee (%) — the courier’s cut of the cash.
  • Fixed monthly costs — rent, tools, salaries.
  • Fee per confirmed order and Fee per delivered order — your call center’s fees.

Changes apply to the table immediately.

4. Read the Campaigns table

For each campaign: Orders, Revenue, Product costs, Est. profit, and for Branded Referral links, Visits and Conv. rate.

  • Est. profit = revenue − product costs − shipping per order − the COD fee − call center fees.
  • Partial costs means some orders’ products have no cost yet, so the profit is a floor.
  • No campaign groups orders from untagged links.

5. Add ad spend for POAS

Type each campaign’s monthly spend in Ad spend / month. POAS (profit on ad spend) = estimated profit ÷ spend for the selected period. Below 1×, the campaign loses money after delivery costs — whatever its ROAS says.

If you’ve connected TikTok Ads under Integrations → Pixels → Ad spend connections, its spend is filled in for you.
